Huy Ho MD
Medical Director | Founder
Dr. Huy Ho, a San Diego native, holds degrees from UCSD and St. George’s School of Medicine in Grenada. He completed his residency program at Long Island College Hospital in NY and UCSF Fresno.
He spent years working at Tri City Medical Center, Scripps Encinitas, and Sharp Memorial before finding his first home at Sharp-Rees Stealy in Downtown San Diego for 13 years.
Since then, he’s been working on his passion, which is treating patients in a one-on-one setting as a concierge physician. He gives undivided attention and individualized care to ensure the best treatment outcomes for his patients.
As Founder and Medical Director at Medical Esthetique Med Spa, Dr. Ho brings his reputation of excellence to the business park of Sorrento Valley, where he once again delivers a concierge-style service to our beautiful clients who seek to improve and love the way they look. With his vast knowledge of the facial contours and musculature, Dr. Ho treats every client with custom care.
A foodie at heart, Dr. Ho loves to spend his free time with his wife and two sons tasting their way through San Diego. If you have any restaurant favs, be sure to share, he loves trying new food.
Brandi Terra NP
Nurse Practioner | Nurse Injector | Practice Administrator
Originally from Rocklin, CA, Brandi Terra NP has been in San Diego for decades and calls this beautiful city home.
Brandi is a Board-certified Nurse Practitioner who holds a Master’s degree in Nursing.
Brandi’s experience as a Registered Nurse started in the Sub ICU at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. After being at Hoag for 8 years, she transitioned to San Diego where she specialized in geriatrics and completed her master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. Brandi completed her residency at UCSD with the Trauma team, Neuro Intense Critical Care team, and the Stroke team.
She then transitioned to internal medicine, where she met Dr. Huy Ho in San Diego.
After years of building her expert skillset in treating patients and helping them reach their health goals through science and medicine, Brandi began her next venture to develop her deep love for aesthetics, cosmetics, and skincare.
Brandi received extensive training to become an expert in aesthetics, injectables, lasers, and skincare. She’s trained under prestigious thought leaders in the field of aesthetics and continues to expand her knowledge and training of advanced aesthetics techniques and devices.
Brandi has a driving desire to help women and men enhance their natural beauty so they can look in the mirror and love what they see. Her delicate hand and eye for detail help make aesthetic enhanacements look contoured and natural.
She understands the impact of self-esteem and confidence on mental health and the role they play in how a person views themself and how they feel they are perceived by the world.
Witnessing her client’s transformation reinforces the joy her job brings her every day.
Brandi says she “just feels better when she eats a healthy diet and stays active”. She’s a Cross Fit’er and enjoys the physical and mental impact of a good workout. Brandi spends her time loving on her kiddos and husband. They spend time traveling and hanging with friends.

Shannon Smith NP
Nurse Practioner | Nurse Injector | Laser Specialist
Shannon Smith, originally from Santa Barbara, is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
Prior to her nursing career, Shannon worked in a physical therapy setting with individuals suffering from paralysis. This is where her passion for helping others achieve their goals began.
After obtaining her degree as a registered nurse, she began her nursing career in the ICU at Rady Children’s Hospital. She transitioned to hospice nursing while pursuing her Master’s degree through Azusa Pacific University.
The world brought the three of us together when Shannon began her nurse practitioner career in internal medicine joining Dr. Huy Ho in San Diego.
Shannon’s drive to help people reach their health goals and experience a transformation in their lives that made them happier and feel better about themselves led her to aesthetics.
To strengthen her expertise in aesthetics and skin care, Shannon received high-level training from some of the most renowned aesthetics injectors in the country. Shannon found her passion for healthcare in aesthetics and cosmetics. She believes continuous training on aesthetic trends and advanced techniques helps her become an expert in this field.
It was an aspiration of Shannon’s to become an injector and laser specialist in aesthetics because she too suffered from troublesome skin for years. She understands what it feels like to not be comfortable in your own skin. She developed a strong passion for wanting to help others finally become confident in how they look and feel.
Shannon is a mom, wife, and a dog mom. She loves being outdoors, hiking, swimming, and snowboarding. She knows how it feels to achieve skin health goals and can’t wait to help do that for you.
Sandy Pantoja
Esthetician
Born and raise in San Diego, Sandy was originally going to school for nursing because she always had a passion of helping others.
In the summer of 2020 Sandy went through a spiritual self love journey. She decided that she wanted to help others love themselves and gain self confidence with or without make up. Fast forward to 2021, Sandy started Esthetician school and got licensed.
She’s an Advanced esthetician, certified in chemical peels, Dermaplaning, HydraFacial and product knowledge with Lira! Her goal is for her clients to gain that self love and confidence with their skin. Sandy get satisfied seeing her patients skin glow. She’s here to offer a safe space for them to disconnect from the world and recharged with a nice glowy facial.
